HEALTH RISK ALERTS

Everything you need to know.

What is Prevalence?

Prevalence is the number of persons affected by a health risk in the neighborhood. It is a simple measure of how many are affected within a 5-minute walk in the area. Prevalence is available for widespread health risks such as COVID-19, flu, RSV, allergies, and pollution.

What does low/moderate/high/very high prevalence mean?

Local Prevalence is graded as: LOW (< 5), MODERATE (5–15), HIGH (15–25), VERY HIGH (> 25). These ranges represent distinct risk profiles requiring different safety precautions — from no mitigation needed at LOW, to pervasive mitigation at VERY HIGH.

Where do you get your data from?

bub provides current and forecast of health risks based on our advanced models that continuously ingest and analyze numerous environmental, biological, epidemiological and demographic data sources from across the country.

How can I get other data?

The bub app has far greater breadth and depth of data. We are also adding additional health risks periodically to the app. bub+ subscription provides forecasts, charts and maps for health risks.

Can I use the charts and data in my publication or news reporting?

When using for media coverage, link back to the webpage online, display the hubbub logo prominently in print or video, or cite hubbub and reference hubbubworld.com in audio. Please contact us for other forms of use.
